I'm studying and enjoying Garry Winogrand photography for couple or more months now.
He is my pleasure for rangefinder photography of people, landscapes and b/w analog prints.
And...
Just minutes ago, for my horror I came to this, his picture.

I have some strange feeling instantly, zoomed it to 400% and
.
Do you see what I see?

Thanks for the laugh. Didn't know what to expect, zoomed in, and it broke me up. Looks nice though, brand new at the time.

Thank you, Tim, as well. It is nice to be smiling not along.
He would use a iphone today. Where's the prob?
Forget it, he wouldn't be into photography today at all.
Garry today would be an art teacher.
Hmmm, 1964... he also used color film that year!

Apparently he only used the Nikon for his straight horizon shots...

The photo shows Winogrand using an SLR. A lot of why he is popular on RFF is because he is famous for using a Leica M4 and 28mm lens. The photo of him shooting an SLR shatters that myth!

I have a Columbia Records classical album that was issued in the late 1960's and it has a cover photo by Winogrand: it's color super-telephoto shot of a landscape feature...has to be at least 300mm.

My vote for his most terrifying:

That one always gets me too harpofreely. Not a great photo in the traditional sense, but it always makes me look and think.
