Picked up a winder with grip and noticed that in messing with it without film (testing sound levels) it sometimes seems to cycle more than none frame with one push on the grip The setting on the bottom is on the one dot. I am not holding the switch down.

Are these finicky by nature, could there be something I am doing wrong, or is this one probably just messed up?

Thanks!

Hi Tejasican, the switch on the grip is probably a bit "lazy" after a long period of non-use. Operate the switch a few dozen times (without battery) and it might clean itself spontanously.
You could also detach the grip from the winder for dirt inspection and test the winder without the grip.

I haven't come across problem stories about the winder itself, yet.

Cheers,
Jan
