Where are we here? Rural Virginia, I'm guessing? And the car beyond the "dream machine" looks like -- what? A Simca or something that's rare in the U.S.? At first I thought it was a Corvair wagon.

In any event, a nice late winter series!

Not sure what it is, Nick, but it's definitely European. And this is in the Blue Ridge area of Southwestern Virginia, specifically Franklin and Floyd Counties.

I was thinking it looked halfway between my mom's 1970 Renault 16 and my dad's 1974 Renault 12 estate wagon. But certain things about it (e.g. shape of tail-lights) aren't right for either. It does seem to be a wagon though, and ugly enough that I thought surely Renault. (Sorry 🙂)
