Mounting 127 slides

I have recently had a hankering for shooting 127. I will want to scan the negs or slides. My scanner does not have a mount for 127 film unless it is mounted as slides. My question is, other than cutting the film to size and having super slide mounts what equipement might I need (sorry I have never mounted slides). Once mounted is it permanent? The mounts are expensive so I was thinking of reusing them.

In order to scan 127 film (Efke R100), I use the holder for 120 film on an Epson V500. I fill the gap with a strip of cardboard taped in place. The cardboard needs to be the right thickness so that it come to the same height as the holder on the other side so that the film lays flat (to prevent focusing problems). The 120 holder I use is from Better Scanning, along with their anti-Newton Ring glass insert, to hold the film down. (www.betterscanning.com)

You say the super slide mounts are expensive, but I have not found them for sale at all. Where can you buy them?

here it is, from Blattworld. I checked and this price is for 20 mounts. Shipping is unfortunately pretty steep (>$10).

Curious about the betterscanning holders, if it has the ANR glass why do you still need the cardboard piece? Can't you just sandwich the film between the scanner glass and the ANR glass?
