I have a few nice 6x6 and 6x7 chromes that I took of a friend. They don't have a lot of dark portions, so they look great when viewed in natural light or even against a white wall. I'd like to cut them up and mount them in a glass frame for a gift. Has anyone done this and have any tips on how to do it?
My initial guess is that a cost effective way would be to buy two frames that I like, and take the glass from the second frame to use as the back on the first, sandwiching the chromes in between. Then I'd put a hook on the frame for hanging. Any other thoughts? I don't want to spend a ton of money, but do want to get it right.
