Hello

I have question about CV Ultron 35/1.7.
I think about this lens for Samsung NX. I have LTM adapter and I know that Samsung left only ~9mm for lenses.
Ultron 28/1.9 not works (focus only to 0.8m), Jupiter-3 works very well. I would like to know about 35mm, but currently I do not have that lens. I have only Jupiter-12, which is completely different.

First, look at this picture:

I am interested in this part of Ultron 35.
I need to know both dimensions - close focus and infinity focus.
Can somebody help me?

Maybe someone know about other fast 35mm LTM lenses?

For any information I would be very grateful.

Best regards!

You are showing a Summicron (Summitar?) in a collapsed position, and asking for the distance between the body of the lens and the bayonet of the lens tube as it is collapsed.

I think you want the distance to the RF cam when the lens is focused to infinity.

If a lens works only in the collapsed position on your camera, the ultron will not work.

Thanks Brian
this is not my lens and picture. I have got it from adapter seller. His experience tell that Samsung has 9.2mm space for lens.

I currently have only Jupiter-3 LTM and Ultron 28mm LTM. I also have Jupiter-12 35/2.8 which I use with Epson R-D1, but Jupiter-12 has specific rear part - big glass. You know about it.

I checked dimension (focus to infinity) both lenses and Jupiter-3 is ~7mm, but Ultron >10mm. Ultron is ~9mm if focus is 0.7m.

I would like to know if there is fast 35mm lens that will fit, like Jupiter-3.

Okay- now I understand the problem. The Ultron rear element extends well past the RF cam at infinity: 11.25mm from the flush of the mount.

The Canon 35/2 in LTM: rear element does not extend past the RF cam. It is more like the J-3 in that regard.
