Sorry for this "newbie question", but I really haven't find the exact answer after searching. So it might be a very evident question.

Can any paper developer be used with multigrade paper?
I've always used Ilford multigrade paper developer, with their multigrade paper, but I was interested on trying Adox Neutol Eco and Fomaspeed Variant paper.

Give those developers you mention a try.
I use Dektol for all of my analog black & white printing, both fiber and resin coated, multi-grade or single grade paper.

I have fun experimenting with different stuff with analog photography.
I have too many film developers! I usually return to using D-76.

As Roger said, yes they all work. But, they work at different speeds, and may have slightly different results.
I've used Legacy Pro Eco, Multigrade, and Kodak Polymax. Multigrade and Polymax are the same in use, but the LP Eco takes 90 seconds to develop (vs 60 for the other two) and the image doesn't start to show up until much later (around the 50s mark for me). So while the final product is the same, it takes longer and there's always a few seconds of faith while thinking "oh crap, did I screw it up?" until the image starts to appear.

Great. I'll try them.
Nautol Eco seems to work withing one minute too.
It's true that some eco developers can take up to 3 minutes, which is a bit too much for me.
