MY 21/4 showed today!!

it's so cute!

got mine in black to match the cl and black also looks good on the zi.

comparing the 21 view to the full frame of the zi (which i use for 25 purposes) shows the 21 is significantly wider.

i think this lens is gonna be fun.

It almost looks like that hood might cover the rangefinder window. Are the height of the CL rangefinder and viewfinder windows the same as other M Leicas? (above the height of the lense mount, that is)... Just wondering. Incidently, I saw a fellow walking around a park in Hartford, CT with a CL tonight (never seen another user around here before). The CL is a good looking rig.

it's about to storm outside, record breaking heat during the day and thunderstorms at night.

i was standing out front shooting the tree branches being blown about and including the side wall standing firm.

i'm already having fun.

as to the cl finder, it is partially blocked by the hood. the external finder has the top of the hood lining up with the bottom line inside the finder.

Nice rig, Joe. I don't have the hood. Makes the setup look so much bigger. But let us know if it actually makes a difference. If so, I may start looking for one.

BTW, the Luigi case looks great too.

i love that case!

it makes the cl much easier/better to handle; adding just enough thickness to meet my hand and form a much better fit.

i had read the hood significantly reduces the possibilty of flare so i thought i'd just start out with it.

joe, that is a very good looking set up! I have passed along all the CV gear except for the 21. It is an amazing lens. I don't have the big hood for mine and, so far, that has worked well for me. But is sure is sexy, baby!

it's all working out...the cl with 21/28/40/90 and some film all fits into the small domke 5xb bag.
