Well, turns out the 28 is currently residing on the IIIc, but basically the same size package. The hood fits on the 21, 25, 28. Have a look at a great little package!

Be careful with the finder when mounting or removing it from the camera. The plastic foot can be a bit brittle and have an edge break off.
I did a repair for a buddy who had this happen to his finder. The repair involved fabricating a new foot from a piece of brass stock and required the use of a milling machine.

Mine would be cuter if I'd put the lens on a little black III. Or if the lens and finder were chrome.

Darn -- now I need to get a little black III....

come around more often my old friend!
i have the cv21 and 28 now and found a nice near new minolta 90/4 in my own town, cheap!

Knew bout the 28 and 90, but the 21 went below the radar...

So I must increase my visit frequency by one third, lol.

Enjoy the 21, don't be afraid of including big pieces of what you think could end being boring blue sky. If it behaves in the same way as the 15, you'll be happily surprised.

it's all working out...the cl with 21/28/40/90 and some film all fits into the small domke 5xb bag.

lovin it!
I have the same lens and the same bag, and I agree! I usually carry an R with J8, L with 21, a CV35 and some film.

I also just ordered the CV lens case for the 21, to make my mind easier when travelling.

I <3 my 21mm - Sometimes it's fun just to scale focus with it and not even compose.. you can get lucky every now and then 🙂

Went to a festival at the weekend (WOMAD).

I ended up using the lens 90% of the time - so easy for a lazy bugger to use.

Attached is the photo that I got the dirtiest stares for taking (48% quality JPEG).

PS I really need to start dialling in exposure compensation for the sky, this needed a 10% lightening of the shadows in PS.
