My battery cap is stuck on my Nikon. Seems that the thread is messed up. So when I try the take off the battery cap to replace the battery, the cap just keeps turning (I Use a Nickel) but never comes loose. Any ideas how to get the cap off.

If the cap has a different material or separate piece from threads, glue them together or drill holes and insert steel rod like paper clip to engage top to threads. Probably beyond your skil level
Could be some corrosion locking the threads to camera.. Internet will tell you to make a cleaner.
Never force fine threads in or out. Never store a camera with battery in it or they may corrode.
No US coins properly the slot. I made a wood screwdriver from hardwood and filed the tapered piece until it fit exactly.
Wood tools will not deface the camera.
I am afraid you are in far a trip to Nikon repair and hope they have replacement compartments.
