Packed up and ready to go. Tonight is the charity concert I am shooting. Starting to get nervous 😱 , but I am meeting the band early to hang out, that should calm me down. Wish me luck.

Oh, I have to stop to get a spare battery for the M6.

I remembered the film, hoods, meter..... I think I am all set, I will let you know how it works out.

i just knew this wasn't going to be about what i thought it might be about!

use a 35 on one body and the 85 on the other and you'll be set.
no changing lenses, the same film in each body...less to think about.
always focus on the eyes and meter for the faces.

simple.
good luck, and you will do just fine...even if you don't follow my advice.

ok, the film is developed and looks good. I just hung it to dry.

Weird lighting, I shot the first set with the M6TTL and flash. TriX and APX 400 souped in Diafine. I was able to get real close with the M3 and Canon 50/1.4, no flash, for the second shot. Most shots were take with Ray G's Nikkor 85/2 (which he may have to fight me for to get it back 😉) and the Canon 50/1.4.

Interesting in the second set, the place had a translucent lit floor. They got control of the lighting for the second set, lowered the house lights and cranked up the floor. I think it will turn out nice.

The film is drying an curling as we speak 🙁.

I will have to press it under some books for a few days before I scan them. I need a film scanner too. The flat bed is nice and fast, but I want to start working up to getting print quality scans. I just did a quick search for the Minolta Dual Scan IV but they seem to already be gone, other than reconditioned ones.
