My C41 Cheat Sheet

Way back decades ago, I tried a unicolor and all the colors turned out punchy and saturated. Way different from Kodak kit.

To try and date, the film was Ektar 25, a beautiful film if a bit slow.

Suggest you print a sample before you ruin some good pics.

I use the Unicolor kits and they work great. All Kodak Ultramax 400. First two on a Contax T, next two Kodak Retina IIa, last Kodak Retina 1 ( type 013) with an Ektar lens.

yours do seem fine. Why I said my experience was late 1960`s.

I used Kodak and a German kit that were fine. I do recall calling them in Michigan and was told the kit was made that way on purpose. I tried shorter times and diluting the developer without total success.

Hey guys, thought I'd share my c41 developing cheat sheet. Of course everyone's process, temps, and timing might differ a little but this process has worked for me after going through several kits. I prettied it up and pdf'ed it lol. You can download it here off my photo blog ...

Mind reuploading?

I plan on doing some c41 soon and although I've done it a lot I think I should make sure I'm doing the best method possible :p Plus it might be fun to experiment a little
