My Cable release doesn't trip the Horizon 202 shutter button

Dear film shooters

I have been shooting swing lens panoramas for a while now, have used Widelux F7, Horizon 203 and now 202. I have a few cable releases at home that worked fine with a Moskva 2 and Olympus OM1, but they don't work with the Horizon cameras. Apparently the rod is just not long enough. Do you know a particular model that does the job?

perhaps go to a camera store and try out a few? older camera stores might have a greater variation...? dunno.

I do have a flickr account, but haven't posted much there. Search for gheorghe chistol. And I am ok with jokes with regard to spanish inquisition and Monty Python. That's the point of mah name🙂
