my cheap softbox whats yours look like?

OK so its not pretty but my budget is zero right now.

1 desk lamp
1 Costco paper towel
2 Spring clips
1 5400K CFL lamp
and a partridge in a pear tree

It's called a Photo Dome and it works a champ w/ natural light!

Corrugated carboard carton spray-painted white on inside, black on outside.
Flap cut on one side for access and cords to camera body. Flap covered with garbage bag to prevent light leaks.
Small corrugated box inside to rest flash units on.
White cotton sheet, white translucent shower curtain, baking parchment paper, or sheet of white translucent acrylic taped over open end of box.
Voila! Done and done.
Cheap, cheerful, works like a champ, and very disposible when I'm done and have no space to store it.

Mine was a bit more involved. Works great though. Would probably not hold up to heavy use, but great for the little use I put it through.

bit tricky getting one to hover bewteen your desk lamp and the desktop though...
