Well-known
York (the old one in England, not the new one in USA) has to deal with regular flooding. The floods this week are the deepest for more than 10 years. Here are a few scenes from my walk to work yesterday.
The Knavesmire, York's racecourse (horse racing)

There was supposed to be a fun fair on the Knavesmire this week

My bus to work usually passes down this street

Hope you liked the pics. So far as I know, no one has been hurt by the floods in York. Locals treat it as part of life in this historic city. Those not effected directly may even enjoy it.
All taken with Samsung NX100 and 50-200mm.
