Can't go wrong for $50 🙂
A D50 will let you use old AFD lens with autofocus for $50
A D70 will let you use old AFD lens with autofocus + has separate dial for shutter speed and aperture for $50
All use the same 6mp sensor
I think a D200 will let you use AIS lens with metering but I am no longer current with my nikon info...
