I spent about 4-5 hrs on this stream. I shot 12 sheets of 4x5 color, 3 rolls of velvia 50 in the pentax 67 , 1 roll of ilford pan f in the autocord & finish off a roll of Agfa apx 100 in the Olympus om-1 ! Oh & I finished off a roll of tmax 400 in a vivitar 35mm panoramic cheap-oh camera! Now I wait patiently! And this one instant photo!

Sounds fun :)
That's more than a months worth of film for me.
I shot like 4 frames in my Nikon L35AF today...

My goodness, that's a lot of exposures! I guess that finishes up that stream for a while, then :)

Hope it was all worth it.. I do enjoy your nature photos.

The important question is, were the trout rising?

Dear Brad,

I'm a Pee-Aye guy and a sucker for the Northern Tier.

I lived for 11 years in the Southern Tier of NY and I have a long time friend who lives in Lycoming County so I've explored a lot of cricks up that way with a fly rod in hand.

I'm glad you had a productive day, and I look forward to more pictures when the fillum is developed.

But I absolutely have to ask, were the trout jumping? ;)

Regards,

Tim Murphy

Brad, this reminds me of my stomping grounds just a bit north in Central NY. When I go home to visit I usually spend hours (and it's never enough) hiking and photographing a nearby creek. And yes, I'll bring several cameras, including 4x5 with sheets of Velvia. But lately I have tried to focus on using only one camera at a time.

Beautiful, Joe!!

Lovely photos, and , yes this is a beautiful part of the world. I like New York City but, over the years, I have gotten tired of trying to explain to folks I've met that "New York" is not all concrete and tall buildings...:)
While I'm awaiting delivery of my first 4x5 camera, I have been planning some outings around here--there are lots and lots of cricks and waterfalls not too far away, I'm not sure how many barns form the 1800s are left but there are some and more from the 1900s, and some assorted mills and dams. And, so far, I'm mostly thinking about my own county (Cortland). When I start thinking about going further afield--Binghamton--where my parents are--or Watkins Glen--where my sister is living, or down into PA (my dad's family settled in Meadville after emigrating ), I don't imagine I will "run out" of things to photograph in my lifetime. Right now, I'm not working so I have plenty of time. Not really able to retire for a few years but I think I'm not going to be too interested in 55 hour work weeks any more! And, I am not even going to be looking for a job for another month or two yet. Going to be a good summer!

Rob

No trout rising Tim. I did cast a few times but no takers. This part of Asaph was pretty dry last summer with the drought.

Scans from one roll I just got back. More to scan!

I've always wondered what Galeton looked like. Neat way to shoot it, Brad. Now I wonder what other two shots you got with the Autocord.
