Oh Dammit!!!! why didn't I listen to people and shoot some of this before. Anyway before I whack my head against the wall as an act of penance for not shooting some of thise stuff sooner, I present the results of my first and last roll of kodachrome...sniff sniff

Nice shots. Looks like you had fun there. I didn't get to shoot any, so don't feel too bad.

Good job! My favorite Kodachrome pics are of bike races and rugby games. It's a crime against humanity that it's gone.

The best camera is one that still works!
Really nice photos Steve but can I make an honest criticism and suggest that they are possibly a little under exposed ... on my monitor they certainly appear that way!
I downloaded one on to my desktop and upped the exposure a little with the slider in my PP software and the colours improved noticably.

Nice captures and colours. I do agree that most of the images look well exposed. However, I think a boost in exposure of maybe one third to two thirds of a stop might actually bring out a strong palette of colours (right now they are a bit muted).
I think what Keith was trying to say (and correct me if I'm wrong) was not so much that they are underexposed per se, but more that a slight boost in exposure would accentuate the colours.

Exactly ... with my PP software 1/3 stop makes a huge difference. Really noticable where there is a treeline in the background that's dark green bordering on black in areas. That slight exposure boost really improves the shadow detail there and the overall colours of the whole image.
Your pics though Steve!

I've balanced all the low end monitors I use at home and work and most images look different on each one.
