Canon LTM My first impression of Canon 50mm f1.2 lens, on an M9

My first impression of Canon 50mm f1.2 lens, on an M9, is that it is an ergonomically wonderful lens to put on an M.

It balances really really well.

Now, to shot some photos.....

You should try it on an M3.

I have always liked this lens. I'm on my second copy. The Olympus 55mm f/1.2 shade fits it perfectly. Much easier to find than the original vented model from Canon. And less expensive as well.

Hang on ... you've just bought the 0.95 Noctilux and you want to tell us all about a 50mm f1.2 Canon!

I've got a 1.2 Canon and I know what it can do .... but the chances of my getting the 0.95 Noct are similar to being on the next space shuttle flight.

i miss my 50/1.2.... sold it due to temporary Leica frustrations and other confusion, then let a friend pick up one i found for an incredible deal. Still kicking myself over that one! haha
