Heres from my first ever roll in my M6, also the first roll of film I've developed myself. Note that I overcooked the negs a bit and I didnt have photoshop on this computer, so just resized with IrfanView.

I just love the way this lens draws light.

I think the key word in your post is "first" . . . as in the M6 you buy before your "second." :D :D :D
 
The lens is the 35mm f/1.4 Summilux... I didn't seem to have any flare problems. Nothing I find objectionable anyways. The lens deffinately has a distinctive look compared to anything I've used before. Like looking at the world through rose tinted glasses, everything looks more emotive? Havn't nutted it out yet.

And yes, you might be right. My wife can see I wont be using the D70 much anymore, so she wants a small camera which she can use. I dont see the point of a small digital, Im going to get her along to the next Leica workshop and see if I can get her comfortable with it :)
