My first roll from G2

Couples of pics from my first roll with the G2.

Very happy with the camera so far.
I learned that you need to make sure that the focus is on the subject. I got many shots with focus at infinite and subject OOF (ex: pic #4).

Jultou, can you please tell me what scanner do you use. I have got the G1 plus the 28mm and the 45mm but my images don´t come even close to yours. I use a epson V700 scanner. thanks

It was scanned by a good professional lab locally in Montreal - LL Lozeau. I am very happy with their work but it cost around $5/roll for 8X12 @300dpi. I don't know which scanner they use but I guess it is an expensive one...

I was using a flatbed scanner Canon 9000F in the past which I believe compares to the Epson V700 in term of performance. After trying several settings, I was not happy with the results. Lot of post processing (dust, exposure, sharpness) was needed to get a decent image. I finally sold the scanner and now I only use a professional lab for that work.

Thanks, it's been a pain to achieve results with the v700. I have improved a lot but still not happy.
