My IIIf has no screws holding on the high speed dial...

Title pretty much says it all: On my IIIf BD there are no screws holding on the high speed dial. There are holes where they should be, but even there are too big to have had the screws that would normally be there. I have included a (crappy cell phone) pic to illustrate.

My IIIf has been sent back to Leitz at some point to have the timer added - is this a byproduct of such an addition? I would love to know!

You have to slightly lift the dial to access the screws. If they were gone doing this would cause the dial to come off..

Holy crap you're right! I've just never seen a Leica like this...I've had another BD and it had the screws on the outside dial. Thank you for your quick response...I'm just glad that it isn't home-hack epoxy =P.
