My last roll of Agfa APX100

I would not be surpriced if the Agfa Photo APX 100/400 NEW by Lupus is an Ilford/Harman emulsion in the mean time. Stock from 2005 should be finished.

I think you are right about the NEW APX400 being manufactured by Ilford/Harmon but the APX100 still being sold mostly in Germany looks exactly the same as the old APX100 from Leverkusen.
I bought 20 rolls from one of the German vendors last year and have developed them exactly same way as i do with the old stock and see no difference.
My Gretag densitometer also read the exact same value of base+fog compared to my freezer stored old stock.
I still believe what is being sold in 35mm APX100 is old film.

You are right Robert:
The APX 100/400 New is identical to Kentmere 100/400 (I've done direct comparison tests).

For those who like the original APX 100 (from Leverkusen, Germany):
Don't worry, be happy: Adox Silvermax is almost the same APX 100 emulsion, just with a little bit higher silver content and coated on a clear triazetate base.
In the finished picture / print the differences are almost not existant.
So you can easily use Adox Silvermax as a perfect APX 100 replacement.

The good old APX 100 is "Made in Germany"
The new is "Made in EU" and have a small red Label at the X of APX saying "New Emulsion". And there are not much factorys left in the EU which will make BW-film.
 
Some time ago someone in Spain was selling 100ft rolls of "AgfaPhoto APX100" dated 12/2014. I'm sure the date is chosen using the very scientifical Stetson method (pulled out of hat). The film was manufactured almost ten years ago but I assume it's still usable.
 
I bought my APX-100 / Rollei Retro 100 films (larger stock) around 2011 when the price of this film in 50 pcs. bulk was close to Eur. 1,50.
The exp. date was short to 2012, hence the low price too but frozen you can keep an iso 100 film for years.
When my stock is finished (which I expect within one year) I will make a choice of another actual iso 100 film.
 
That is http://www.foto-r3.com/. They are still selling it in 100ft rolls today. I bought 1,000ft from them when I found that macodirect had significantly increased the price of their left-over original APX 100. It was a pain for me to order because I do not understand Spanish on their website. But less than two weeks later I received the whole 1,000ft safely in US. 🙂 My little freezer is overflowing with films now, otherwise I may order another 1,000ft from them.

I developed a roll from the bulk. Other than the font of the marks on the edge, I did not see any difference between macodirect's and foto-r3's.
