My M6ttl in Agony

Hi All, A friend of mine recently knocked my leica off a table, we watched as if in slow motion as it hit the floor. Picked it up cautiously and found out that the meter is no longer working and it doesnt trigger flash anymore. Do you guys think the problem is serious enough to have it sent to Solms? I live a bit far off from Germany (in Indonesia). There are local repairmen but I am sure its gonna be risky. (understated hehe) Have this happened to anyone else here? And whats the cure? If the circuit block is damaged, does anyone know how much replacing it is going to cost? The guy and I are still friends, but i am not letting him around my cameras anymore, he is banished from the studio. Cheers, PanjiBaskara

Further question then, has anyone here has had his/her m6ttl sent to Solms and had its circuit board replaced? Just in case thats the problem. And how much did it cost?

Yup did all that. Pretty sure that the drop caused the mess
