Funny you ask that... my daughter was just recently complaining about her magic mouse because it eats through batteries if she doesn't turn it off.
Now, she's 18, so take that with a grain of salt... Not sure what her definition of "eats through" is...

You need a proper chrome hand crafted mouse from Germany, with regular service/CLA it will outlive you...

There's no off button on my mouse and no batteries to go through. I'm still using mice with cords. They usually cost around $10. Never understood the use of cordless mice. It's not like I need to navigate my computer from the other side of the room. If I'm close enough to see what's on the screen I'm close enough to use a mouse with a cord.
