I wish I could take photos of my hood. If I did, most of my neighbors would think I'm either a narc, a cop, or I have something to steal.

Really enjoy your compositional density -- seems very fitting to the subject matter.

I now have two neighborhoods, one in central Florida and one in rural eastern Cuba. Cuba takes their heroes very seriously. Camilo Cienfuegos was one of the most popular commanders in the Cuban Revolucíon which triumphed on 1 January 1959 when dictator Fulgencio Batista fled the country. Ten months later, on 28 October 1959 the Cessna 310 carrying Camilo back to Havana disappeared. No traces, no clues. Now on every 28 October all the children in Cuba throw flowers into the sea or a river if inland to remember and honor Camilo. I have photographed this for the last five years. In 2019, I was home in inland Cueto when all the children marched down to the river with their flowers. This is what Cuba is all about.

A view fom a hill behind my home.

The owner of a pre-industrial iron processing plant (est. 1393) built this manor house in the 17th century. It´s 200m from my home (in this viewpoint to the right).
