My neighborhood....lets see yours

I live in a small town that likes to call itself a city, Astoria, OR, ~10,000 citizens. The trade was fur, fish and timber at one time. Typical Pacific northwest. The fur is gone, the fish is pretty much gone from the river where "you could walk across the Columbia on the backs of salmon" and timber is dwindling. But there are boats which still moor to offload at Bornstein's fish processing and at Da Yang, also Bornstein's, and some which come to tarry and restock, repair and rest. It is downhill from my home and convenient and I have an abiding interest in harbor activities.

So here are a few from "my neighborhood." NatGeo, the tug Shaver and an impertinent bugger who just flew in to see what he could steal.

First has been posted before. It was taken days after I got the camera. There is some camera vignetting. It looks nice. No, I am not entirely objective. Then the harbor at night from exactly my back door. Then mi amigo con corazon. He was the window guy at El Azadero, a roach coach with great tacos. He has vanished now with the changing politcal climate.
