I don't know whether I ever told you that that camera had an 'alleged provenance'. I bought it off a bloke who said he was the grandson of a lady whose surname was Huston, apparently she was a FRPS but I have never been able to track her down. Would such a woman have her nickel knobs chromed? I doubt it...

There are other treasures in that box. A keen eyed pre-war US car buff will notice those wheel bolts from a Hudson Terraplane I'm sure.

I'm ex motor industry, and somewhat stricken in years, but I have never even heard of the car - it looks like one serious drive too!

It was a straight eight. In the '30s it formed the basis of one of the 'Anglo American Sports *******s' as they were then known...the Railton. I had a very battered one when at college...went like a rocket when I could afford to fill it up with petrol!
