Yeah, I still use film...
Here are some pictures of my brand new 49 year old Zorki 2c. Also attached are some shots I took with it the other day and printed up this morning.
I have to say that this camera impresses the hell out of me!! It's nice and small, it looks really cool, and it takes a great picture. All the settings seem to be right on the money. All I did was tear it down, clean it up (including a very large chunk of film taken out of the curtain gears!!), lube a couple of things, and it was good to go.
I have read that a lot of people think that the 2c is an ugly camera, but I'm afraid that I have to disagree. Sitting next to my Z4 the 2c is a work of art!! I haven't received my Z1 yet, so I may change my mind when I compare the two of them, but for now I think I'm in love...

hi Russ,
I recently got hold of a functional Fed 1g and I have to agree that these old Leica II copies are super small and great fun. Now what you need to do is get a good collapsible Industar 3.5 50mm lens and make your camera really pocketable. You'll find too that a good example of these lenses is surprisingly sharp even wide open. After that, a Jupiter 12..... Ah well, this tends to be an ongoing process.

Thanks Frank!
I was wondering what it was. It looked familiar but I couldn't place it.
That and another old rusted out car are at a place called Parlor Rock Park in Trumbull, CT., which is also where the other pix were taken. Run a google search on it. It's a very interesting historical story.
Thanks for the ID!
Oldrangefinderguy:
I have a Zorki 1 on the way from the Motherland which has what looks like a very nice Industar 22 on it. I plan on swapping it around between the Z1, the Z 2c, the Z4 and the FED 2 that is also on the way. Also have two other Z4's on the way, both with Jupiter 8's on them. Thinking of looking for a Jupiter 9 next... Maybe a 12 later?

Yeah, I just came down with it suddenly. Doesn't seem to be going away, either...

The Zorki 2C with the I-62 just looks great. I'm awaiting a Zorki C this week which has to be repaired. I'm about to use its body and curtains for a broken Fed-1, and the old top cover of the Fed for the top. But I'm not sure about the combination yet.

I know the feeling - I started with a Z1, which led to a FED, FED 2b, FED 3a, Z4k, Z5 and Z6 in addition to the Kiev 4 I inherited. All I need now is a Z2, Z3, FED 3b, FED 4, FED 5....and then I can start on the variations I guess!b1bmsgt said:Yeah, I just came down with it suddenly. Doesn't seem to be going away, either...
