My New M2!

Just got an M2 from KEH with the Quick Load kit installed. I have to say, having only used M4-2's and fondled M6's before, this was quite an awakening. The RF patch is significantly easier to see than in my M4-2, although the finder does seem a bit darker overall. The fit and finish are great, film advance smoother, and general feel much better. I can load the film with the QL kit as fast as I can with the later loading system, and with fewer little slips.

one question: can someone go over how to use the depth of field markings on the RF patch? Thanks.

Congratulations on the acquisition! If the VF is too dark, it may need a cleaning. It is amazing what a difference that can make.

Take a peek at the DoF image attached for the explanation with regard to a 50mm lens.
