Well-known
Hi folks,
Slightly off-topic I know, except perhaps that quite a lot of my portfolio shots were taken with a ZI. And the people in this sub-forum are the ones I know a little.
It all came about because I am signed up for the evening Portrait Photography course at Central St Martins for this term. I've been on a couple of their Saturday courses before and enjoyed them, mostly for the interaction with the group rather than gaining any specific technical knowledge. But I have enjoyed previous courses and believe they have benefitted my photography, and I thought it might be fun to do another.
Anyway, when you first arrive the subject of a "portfolio" or at least some sample work always comes up, so I thought I might proceed by setting up a portfolio website. It's not designed for anything in particular except to be representative of some of my work. I wouldn't be averse to considering some commissioned work, but photography for me is a hobby and I have no real desire at this time to turn it into a fee-generating activity.
So with all that in mind I would love to get some feedback on the website if you have any, and if you feel that this is the wrong place to post this then please accept my apologies.
My aim was to build a site which was easy to navigate and struck a balance between showing enough of my portfolio to be interesting, but not every half-decent shot I ever took. I think I probably have too many pictures on the site, but it's not totally OTT. I hope there are enough pictures there to make it worth more than a single visit. I also didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount of time and money on the construction, so tried to keep it fairly easy to manage (using Wordpress) and fairly inexpensive to keep running.
Anyway, here's the link...

I would be particularly interested in any shots that you think are not up to the overall standard (wherever that lies) and should therefore be removed.
Regards,
Craig Arnold.
