I've only had the thing 6 months, and it's not been subjected to any rough handling or mishaps, but the damn thing just died on me. It was showing the time but wouldn't switch to any of the timer modes. I thought the battery might be dying, so I swapped it for a fresh one, now all I get is a screen full of LCD madness - every LCD element is on, and the switches do nothing. Anyone know if there's a reset anywhere on these things, or is it just dead?

I have one of those,it runs on a constant x1.5 speed.
I use a mechanical one for the enlarger and a timer or clock for films.

I have one, too, and it's fussy on its best days.
A great idea, poorly executed.

Yeah, I tried removing the battery, but to no avail. I've just ordered a Zyliss dual event digital kitchen timer, so hopefully that'll be more reliable.
