I've recently come back from Italy (Abruzzo) and am gradually developing and scanning my photos. I'll post some of my favourites here.

All were taken with my M6 classic and Elmar-m 50mm/Skopar 35mm (LTM).
Films -
Kodak Tmax 100 (in ID11)
Portra 160 and Ektar (still battling with scanning colour to my liking!)

i live in Italy but never been in the Chieti area. I like your photo which are not the italian cliché I see sometimes, N° 3 in the first set and N° 2 in the second are my preferred because of a certain mystery in them . I hope to see more...please!

Thanks! I'm glad you feel like I avoided the clichés, I tried my best although it was hard in Rome!

I really enjoyed the museum in Chieti, there are lots of small medieval towns in that area and good food and gelato :rolleyes:
 
It's always interesting to observe how people coming from a different country "see" the place where I'm living! love the sweater shot!

In the times I have been to Italy it struck me how the old history, buildings, statues, paintings contrast with the new like the cars, people's dress fashions, more modern buildings, trains and religious icons. Italy is a beautiful country, but the food is better in New York. You have to be use to walking if you go there and one doesn't see many fat people either. I especially loved Florence and its history. There are many photo possibilities.
 
Something I really like to look at is present by OP here :)

I like some of the pictures and I like the fact about gear and film used to get these pictures. Perhaps, because I use close to it set.

Italy or else, bring them on!

Sometimes it's frustrating when there's a car in the way spoiling a timeless shot haha! There's plenty of original Fiat 500s to make up for it though :)

The supermarkets are unreal compared to the UK, it's obvious they value taste and health over convenience.

Thanks! I always enjoy your photography Ko.Fe! I also, like you, appreciate it when people post technical info on their pics.

Now, if this were a food site, them might be fighting words, podner.:cool: On a food site, I'd be mighty tempted to ask where you've eaten in both places and what food you like. But that would be off-topic here, vero?

Rereading... In hindsight, my post sounds a lot snarlier than I intended it. My apologies, I was trying to sound clever, while also defending the food. Didn't work. Still curious, though.
