Nicely done. The Canon Classic 120 is one of the best P&S I've ever used! Amazingly sharp lens. The flash performance wasn't really great (from what I remember) but I only put ISO 100 film through it.

Wow... I'm kinda addicted to buying cheap cameras at thrift stores and swap meets as well but my collection is at like 10 right now. I also see you've got a Konica Recorder! If you think you need to thin the herd at all, PM me. I've been looking for one of those. :)

The Canon Classic 120 is a sweet cam, but mine is dying a slow death. The electronics aren't well sealed, and it picked up a bit of moisture when I had it in my shirt pocket one day, so a couple of features no longer work. And the Date display just keeps flashing. At least the delay still works so I can do night photography with it.

Here's a list of the ones I'm thinking of finding a good home for:

The Minolta AF-C is one of my favorite cameras. Simple and easy to use. I guess there are lots of other great point-n-shoots but your collections shows me why I shouldn't get some more to try out.

(ending up with seven Zenit just thinking it would be good to have another one just in case was a bad idea.)

which is your favorite one?

My question, too, Mattco. Name your faves, and the reasons why, if you have a moment.

I guess you're a good person to ask: which one has the largest/best viewfinder? I've always wished there were a P&S with a viewfinder as glorious as in a Rollei 35....

I see you have a WP-1 there.
I have two Canon wp-1, the newer one was made in China, the older one in Taiwan, there is no cosmetic differences.
The door catch on both camera broke w only a few rolls thru the cameras (didn't even go near the water), now I have to tape the door shut after loading film...
The 32mm f3.5 lens is an interesting one, it's a 6 element lens (my other water proof Nikon's 35mm 2.8 was a 4 element design).
Mr John Kratz took this picture. Very good looking camera

I also have an Autoboy, Canon just announced a digital Autoboy: :)

OT, Is it ok to grab that wp-1 photo from flickr? Any copyright violations?

It's so tough to really pick just one, the Yashica T4 Super and the Canon AF35ml(I always buy these when I find them, I've got three) are on the top of the list. The Canon MC has some character to it as does the Minolta AF-C. The Vivitar UWS clone with the flash is great for indoor party shots.

Honestly I use my rangefinders and SLRs more than the point and shoots, but they are so cheap when I find them it's hard to say no. I always have at least one of these loaded up and with me when I go out shooting. Right now the T4 Super has some BW400CN in it and I think the Olympus Trip AF as well as the Nikon L35AF3 have some Kodak color 400 in them.

I highly recommend using 400 ISO film in these cameras unless you're shooting at night with a tripod or in very bright daylight. The higher speed will let the camera stop the lens down further for sharper photos and will also make up for any small errors in autofocus calibration.

As far as viewfinders go it's not as important to me as it would be with a RF or an SLR since I'm not focusing with these, just framing. The physically larger finders are generally brighter. One that is terrible though is the Samsung ECX1. Its a neat camera with tons of features but a distractingly small finder, even it's placement is bad as it doesn't come to the eye naturally. With such a large camera you'd think a larger finder would have been easy to work in.

One camera not in this photo is my Yashica Samurai X3.0, it's a giant P&S that is actually 1/2 frame with a zoom lens and a reflex mirror. So I guess it's a 1/2 frame point and shoot SLR.

I took this out fishing with me last summer and shot a roll but it's in the drawer to go get developed. Any reports on the lens quality/character?
