My Project Published In The "Inspired Eye"

Congratulations. Interesting blog, too; thanks for sharing.

I'm sure it's gratifying having a personal project featured by a photography site. These I'd settle for just picking a project I'd want to stick with for more than a few weeks!

You have some really strong pictures; I just went through your ongoing project and was very engaged by it. Thanks for the links.

Any plans for a book from it?

Thank you all. Yes, I would like to put a book together. I've done a mockup to take around, made some appointments, and then everyone cancelled. It has been quite a frustrating experience in that regard. I keep trying. Thankfully the "Inspired Eye" felt the project resonated with them, and they were insterested in publishing a selection. I do work on projects for a long time. I've found that they always lead to new ones.

Nice work. Congrats on the recognition.

You should take a look at (though you're probably already familiar with it), Wounded Cities.

"The inspired eye"? It's fellow members Radical7 & M4streetshooter behind it ^^ 🙂

I would self publish the book at first and show a few folks the sample....or print some images and display somewhere in the area for buzz....some ideas at least 🙂

Thanks again everyone.

I am familiar with "Wounded Cities". Leo's view and my view are somewhat very different. While he traveled to other cities that experienced tragedies, I could not. I cannot profess to even know how others experience tragedy in their cities. That idea, while noble, never even entered my mind. I choose to explore the reactions of those individuals who come to visit the 9/11 site here. For me, it was an immediate experience. New York is my town. I was born here, work here, and have a family here. Somehow seeing the faces of others let loose the emotions within myself. If I can connect with others, then somehow it was successful. There were days when I could not bring myself to walk over. Days when I just needed to walk in another direction.

Radical7, you are a member of the "Inspired Eye"?
