My Rate of output is getting clipped

Lost my job yesterday, have to be really carefull with my severence package and I hope I qualify for EI benefits. So anybody know of any entry level Public Relations/Corporate Communications gigs in the Greater Toronto area, preferably downtown? Much prefer downtown.

I feel for ya, Bill. Lost my job back in November and I'm just now getting back to work full time. Look on the bright side: you'll have losts of time for photography now.

Ouch! Been there more times than I'd like to admit.

Hard as it may be - try to make some time for yourself during this downtime. Maximize taking time for yourself on Fridays (no one interviews on Fridays!) and the weekends.

The weekends are the toughest because when you're "out" they are just 2 more days and one tends to "forget" that no real job hunting is possible.

More than anything else, remember, you still have a job! That job is finding a new position. Treat it as a work assignment and schedule it that way.

I unfortunately been down this garden path before and I know the drill. It was my last bout of unemployment 5 years ago where I really got the bug for photography. I was beginning to look for a position in my field this year but I did not plan to have it start right now. Any leads appreciated.
