My RC is back !

For two weeks I have been half crazy looking around at home where the hell I put my RC.

Since I permanently use a stomach belt pouch, but not every day I have my shooting cameras with me everywhere I go, I came to the conclusion the RC will be full time part of my belt pouch, along my celular, credit cards etc. Capabilities, lens, size and weight (BTW it is even smaller than the Oly trip 35) - all make the RC the most suitable camera for the task. Not to speak about the fact I have not to buy one.

But somehow for two weeks I didn't find it and started to lurk at eBay. Today I found it and am extremely happy. From now on allways with me.

Cheers,
Ruben

Ruben, believe or not, I misplaced one of my XA

Yes, the one usually in my jeans pocket. I've been test-driving my wife's XA4 so I put my XA somewhere. Somewhere is the key, now I can't find it.... arrrgh!!

A very good choice Sir, if I may say so. I am painfully aware that my RC is criminally underused and I really should run more film through it. Two B&W films in three years is NOT a good track record

Ruben: I seemed to have lost two rolls of K25 around here. Can you help me? ;)

Definitely !
Analize in depth where it should be, go there and make an exhaustive search.

Cheers,
Ruben

No. No. No. You did not finish the story. Where did you find the RC?

I started one day to disassemble it for rf adjustment, put it in one of my standard boxes for disassembled cameras, along with the others.

So what was the problem ? I forgot I started to disassemble it, and therefore overlooked that section. How I found it back ? After 4 exhaustive rounds of all possible corners, I started to look at the unpossible corners....:bang:

No need to say that between row and row I made my tour de force at eBay. Prices sent me back for another round.

Cheers,
Ruben

Perhaps a belt pouch is needed ?

I think I may try to finish the roll off during Winter. There's something about the starkness and barrenness of Winter landscapes which lends itself so well to B&W. But I'm pretty sure I said that LAST year as well, and the roll's still sitting there half finished :bang:
