Yes, just enjoy the composition that happens in the viewfinder, I have started off with a Rolleiflex 35 years ago, and I bought a couple recently because these are such great cameras, and now also out of production...

Isn't the GX / FX still in production? I hear something about 100units/year...
I myself am looking for an old 3.5 or 2.8 planar :D

As nice as the Rollei is I've decided to try and trade it for lenses for my OM cameras, and have posted a trade ad in the classifieds. I would like to get a 85/2 & 28/2 in exchange for my Rolleiflex Automat MX-EVS, 75mm f3.5 Tessar Serial # 1490XXX. A like new Voigtlander
VC Meter II, 10 rolls Tri-X 400 (120) and 20 rolls PortaNC 400 (120). I'm a 35mm guy, it's what I like to shoot.....

Sadly, the 1st part of your question answers the 2nd: you just have to practice using the darn thing. As a hard core RF shooter, I find it takes @ least 2 rolls of film for me to even begin to adjust to the reversed lateral direction of the waist-level finder. If I'm in a hurry, I just use a prism finder (which still requires me to make some adjustments).

I probably just need to practice and practice and practice some more --- any helpful hints anyone?
