Ivan, you should definitely send those pics to Morgan, and maybe a template of the cuts you made. Then maybe he can finally post a little kit on the "supported cameras" page. Even if it's just the two front sections. I bet many users would opt to keep their little grip section on the back. I'm pretty bad with knives. 🙂

thanks guys! Yeah, Morgan says he's had a lot of requests for the R-D1, he knows the material is too thin for just the camera, be differnt story if it were thicker. the rubber covers up a lot of little indentations, holes, lines, this is pretty much why I left it on... sticks well to the rubber cause the rubber is porous.
