My sons wedding, what camera?

Thank's for all the great response. I think I will take the M3 with Tri-x & the vintage 1952 50 Summicron collapsable, radio active glass for the Leica glow. I can take a few shots as the night goes on & no one will no with that old film camera and all. I will let it get in the way of the special day. Just have it at hand for a roll or so of special shots. Thank's all., Kevin

I like your decision😎, as a matter of fact I have
two daughters and when they get married I
plan to carry a camera also for those images
that a paid photographer would probably not
get simply because I know my daughters better
than he would.

I too did wedding photography though some years ago now. I used to shoot more formally with medium format rather than the reportage type stuff we see now. My daughter got married at the weekend and i went digi (OLY E420 and LX3) though I could've done film had i wanted. I just went for the more convenient option knowing as father-of-the-bride I would be doing other duties besides shooting. I didn't really shot anything 'creative' really but got lots of shots and just enjoyed myself immensely. Had I just been a guest then I would've liked to use my RD1.
I would say as others have pointed out, take what you like to shoot with and just enjoy the day. The two pro photogs we had were very good on the day, not intrusive at all.
