Was helping my friend do a mild coverage of her exhibition. My virgin attempt at event coverage:

View here!

First time I feel like a photo-journalist :angel: and it was a wonderful feel. All the Nikons and Canons were like sitting ducks that night. The photographers couldn't shoot at all when the room was absolute quiet as poetry session goes on. I was happily clicking away in the room without anyone noticing. That has to be a Leica! 🙂

So I'm here to share my joy with this wonderful camera. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do!

Terrific! I enjoyed the slideshow very much.😀

One question...how did you get permission to shoot (even though you knew the MP would be quiet) while the other photographers with SLR's could not? Did they say it was okay for a Leica but not SLR's, or what? I only ask as it may occur with me in the future for something similar.

Great job!

thanks mates.

Dave:: I have permission to shoot as it was my friend (the exhibitor's request). Of course they didn't mention about slr not being ok. But the loud mirror flip esp those new dslr are vulgar! Nobody cares about quiet shutter anymore thesedays becasue they have fast tele-lenses. But in that small shop that night, they better do 😉

Thank you all!

Srono:: I used 2 rolls that night... 1 Provia 400X, 1 Sensia 400. But have wonderful feel to them. But Provia tends to have less grain.

Ravt:: Which lady 😉

Chris:: yes.. with berry cheese cake and sparkling wines.. no wonder she has that "glow" in her eyes.

oftheherd:: well, actually its a designer cum bookstore. They selling everything design there. I think the owner is a poloroid die-hard.

Lilserenity:: yes. tons of great books there for the book-worms.

35mmdelux:: bingo! 50mm lux version 2 😉 I'm really a big fan of 50mm. They offer me alot of flexibility!

hans voralberg:: its in Ann Siang hill... a hidden stretch in the middle of the city with many designer shop selling everything from furniture, lifestyle, to clothes and books.

Debusti Paolo:: thanks mate!

Thanks all.
