I've had K-mount Tokina 25-50/4 for about year, not using it much. Recently it stuck on one of bodies (lens release lever broke off), I panicked a bit and slightly forced removal. That said, I bent aperture set lever (lets body know which aperture is selected).
And you know what? Today I removed back plate and straightened lever. One part of story is I like gear works as it should, another - I looked on this compact lens, not too much bigger than 50mm and thought - I just want to use it for "one camera, one lens" occasions. Of course, I could use it manually but on lazy days with family aperture priority is like a drink or icecream.
Sorry, picture is too boring, and bricks weren't my subject

Heh, I don't know the lens you mention but the FL zoom is for sure a great thing.. I wish Nikon would ever do a 25-50 F/2 (even if it would lose some compactness)...
