I currently have three boats. I put a 36 exp film in my III after Christmas, 26 frames still to go!
Well done with the restoration work Mike. I’ve still two years before my retirement. Sadly it’s my body that could with restoring. I’m knackered after four days of gardening...... and then it snowed! Nice history about your house. Now the UK lockdown appears to being lifted I too am looking forward to getting out and about. I’ve bought cameras that haven’t even had a roll through yet.

Very nice, Mike! I'd noticed that you'd gone AWOL from RFF these past few weeks, and am glad to learn that the reason was not what it might have been - in today's peculiar reality. 🙁
The pictures show your prowess in the DIY field, but it's now time to get to work with that M2!
Congrats on your retirement! The house looks lovely.
I was always busy, and got busier still once I retired. So I’m afraid I have no ‘settling in to retirement’ story to tell: I’ve just kept on going. 🙂
Working on a photo book and a monograph project now. Never mind my other interests. My partner just quit his job of 24 years and has decided to go back to school for a bit before finding another, he generally is amused by whatever projects I take on and doesn’t care much how I spend my money, so there’s none of that business of who’s in charge of the purse strings. We just collaborate on what needs to be paid for together and do our own thing otherwise. It works for us. 😀
Good luck with your M2 Project! I try to cycle on my fatbike every day, 15-30 miles per ride and nearly always have a camera with me for those occasional good moments of photo awareness.

Congratulations on such an early retirement, Do whatever makes you feel good and what is allowed to do.
Dude! You are 55 and retired get out there and live a little! Jump in the car with cameras in toe and hit the road! Lots to see a photograph....
three boats, you must have an understanding wife and bank manager, in my case the wife is also the bank manager!😀
Hi,
Enjoy it while you can, you never know what might happen in the future; who could have predicted lockdown etc, etc a couple of years ago?
FWIW, I laughed when my father told me that a while after he retired he wondered how he ever found time to go to work for a living. You'll be amazed at what people ask of you as they know you have time on your hands and nothing much to do...
Regards, David
By the way, only people with 'jobs' have time to go fishing, retirees are way too busy.
Congratulations, you've now entered the "what's a weekend?" phase!
You can’t just say BMX!
We need a drive side photo and specs!
