Pre-ordered since January, it finally showed up today. I absolutely love it so far, it suits me very well.

I've read the various criticisms out there, but so far have found most to be non-issues.

A short review on my Blog here.

Me too. I'm really loving it as my carry-in-my-coat pocket camera. I like being able to set it up in manual-everything mode... a load of fun. AND I can use ISO 3200! :)

Glad you are happy with it; have read so many complaints. Better to like it after that length of anticipation! How are you with a fixed focal length system? Been putting off even considering purchase because I can't justify having a camera of that cost without the ability to change lenses. Is this something you think you'll eventually miss?

BTW, I think the inclusion of an ND filter is a big win. Fuji really thought about this from a usage standpoint.

I really don't have any issue with the fixed lens (kinda wish it was 50mm, though - that is closer to my "vision").

Day 3 now, and still no major complaints. The auto-focus is faster than I thought it would be, the image quality is almost too good to be true. High ISO performance will knock you off your feet.

Manual focus stinks - but scale focusing is good. Shutter lag is non-existent.

I received mine about an hour ago

First impressions:
It feels good and solid
Menus - a bit to complicated but I'll set it and then not use them too often
Buttons/controls - the center control dial button is a bit small
EVF - nice , a little jerky when panning the camera
OVF - very nice, also nice with EVF overlay

Stupid firmware, iso resets to 200 when you change exposure modes

Picture quality, gorgeous. I haven't downloaded them to the computer yet but from the LCD you can see that this ain't your fathers P&S

It actually brought a smile to my face when I saw the first shots
The quality is palpable

What else?
I'd get rid of the strap lugs and use a wrist strap on on side
There's a funny little plastic nub on the back above and right of the control wheel, what's that about?

In the end it's all about the image and this camera rocks
It might just be the long awaited "Jesus camera" (no offense intended)
At least until the X200

Funny moment, my son took it up pointed it ate and asked where the zoom button was. I pointed to his feet

I got mine yesterday. looks nice but sure has a few strange quirks. Nothing that can;t be worked around. VF's are great, IQ too.

Cheers,
