M6 classic, Zeiss T* 35mm/f2. Out the door to do some shooting right now (first roll).

Looks nice. What made you go with a chrome lens?

Actually, I had the black on order, but it was back-ordered for quite some time.
Honestly, I like the chrome lens on the black body. It looks less like an M8...less digital, I guess. Weird, I know. I do like it though.

Nice. I have the black 35mm Biogon on my M6. You will not be disappointed. I'm thinking about either a Zeiss 28mm or a Konica 28mm for my next purchase. Looking forward to seeing some images.

scorpius,
If you are getting the 28, get the hood as it can flare if you provoke it (unlike the 35/21).
FWIW, despite less brilliant MTFs than the 25, the 28 produces negs that I cannot distinguish from the 35 f2 once past wide open.

Thanks Turtle,
If I go the Zeiss route I will definitely have the hood.

Let me answer this: It's the 35/1.2 Nokton. There is no chrome 50/1.1 from CV, btw.

Akiva, I like the chrome on your black M. I think I made the right choice for me...I think the chrome lens takes the serious "edge" off a black body, which looks like a work rig instead of a pleasure shooter.

First couple of test shots with the M6 and Zeiss 35/2. I needed a quick turnaround, so I ran with Kodak Gold 200, which was laying around.

OP ---> Congratulations on the Biogon 35/2 and M6!
Akiva, That's a sweet looking kit. Is that a M7 or MP? It looks like it was one those a la carte Ms? Anyway, it is beautiful and I have heard you talk about wanting a MP for a long time, so I am happy for you that you have one or something that looks like one

Nice pictures! Zeiss color are really great... Very "snappy". When we've got kids around, they are always the first victims of a new lens/toy... Errr... Who's the kid now?
Anyway, the setup you've got represent clearly this french sentence : "Entre Zeiss et Leica, mon coeur chavire!"
