It could be a new game show or something!

Seriously, though, I found this old lens in a hard case for a Takumar 28/3.5, and it's certainly nothing of the sort!

The lens itself is marked "Elgeet 1 Inch f:1.5" and "Made in USA." It has both an aperture ring and a focus ring, so I'm guessing it's not an enlarger lens. It's got a screw mount of some kind, though it's extremely small. I can't, for the life of me, figure out what mount this lens is for.

It'd be really interesting to find the camera that goes with it! (What an RFF mentality, there.) It looks like it'd be either scale focus or focused through a reflex finder of some kind (strikes me as being more like the former) as it has no coupling for an RF.

Mostly, curiousity just has me wanting to know what it mounts on!

Google turned up some pages on Cine cameras with lenses similar in branding, I just couldn't find any that matched in focal length AND maximum aperture.

I wouldn't be surprised, though.

If the screw mount is ~25mm, it is C-Mount for 16mm movie cameras and some video cameras.

Much smaller than that, it is D-Mount for 8mm movie cameras.

My 13mm F1.9 Nikkor is not quite as valuable as some would think as it is in D-Mount.
