I love how film loads onto the reel in my Leica R8 camera on the correct side, but my Bessa R3A loads film with the natural curl reversed. Thus, when I attempt to load an exposed roll onto one of my Hewes (or Hawes) stainless steel rolls, the reversed curl makes loading the film extremely difficult. I would surely appreciate some tips from all of you regarding how to avoid this recurring problem. In advance, thank you!

Addendum re film curl

I just developed a roll of Acros 100 from my R3A after loading it via the reversed curl the R3A created, and I noticed splotches on some of the image segments which are undboutedly due to developer not reaching those areas because those parts of the film came into contact with other parts of the film. Damn!

Every camera I used except Smena-8M had reversed loading. I just cut end of film - about 5cm - which is very curly. Rest of film is relatively straight.
Then, step by step:
1) Insert films end into your reel
2) turn off the light
3) start rotating your reels
4) hold film's end with one finger on its first circle, so it won't go out of reel
5) when first circle is complete, load reel as you always do it

99% of my film is done that way, works okay.

It happened to me before.
I use this rule - if film suddenly stucks when I load it into reel, or goes with resistance, there is contact (bad experience taught me). I remove film from reel and start all over again. Thanks god it is very rare, just keep your reels dry and cut out curly end of film, so it won't jump out of the reel.
