Hi guys

I joined the National Trust with my girlfriend the other week and we're making the most of it. Here are a few pictures and some randoms from around the same time.

Cheers

Nice Chris.
I`m doing the National Trust thing next week although they`re not very camera friendly as regards interiors I seem to recall.

We decided to join as I'm opposite Cliveden and it made sense to pay for a year. I haven't been inside yet, so we will when it's raining and we're bored. I'm sure us Rangefinder folk can get around the no camera rule with some hyperfocal work ;)

Cheers

The National Trust no longer have the rule against photographing interiors. It was dropped a couple of years or so ago and handheld photography indoors is now permitted.

That`s good to know Ian.
I remember taking pictures some years ago at one property of the Elizabethan doors and their ornate handles and locks.
I was stopped and asked what I was doing by a Steward, or whatever they are called.
"Just taking pictures of the locks " I replied.
Didn`t sound right somehow :)

Let my NT membership lapse recently and at £92 I won't be renewing soon. Did put it to good use though when I had it. Lots of places to use it and some good events held at these places.

The NT seem to have relaxed lately. I visited Lacock Abbey in the spring and we were told that when that window was the only thing you were allowed to photograph, there was a constant queue - now there's maybe two or three people a day taking photos of it!

Anyway, if you want proof that they've relaxed a bit, try this from Lacock:

I would have thought so.
It was a low light affair today ...60/30th @f4 /5.6.
I had a CSonnar on the front so they may have been some focus shift.
