I am planning a trip to mirror lake or somewhere else in the mountains for this saturday. I am interested in some scenic shots to try out the xpan and this may be a good weekend for it. Anyone interested?

DAMN! I'm about a month late. I wasn't aware that there was a Pacific Northwest section in this group. I'd have loved to gone.

But Mirror Lake, is in Yosemite. It's the Lake that reflects Half Dome. I know, I used to live nearby there.

Y'know, I bet there's LOTS of Mirror Lakes, just as there's lots of other obvious feature names used over and over... Clear Lake, Lost Lake, etc, and I know of two Silver Lakes in Washington... I just don't happen to know of a Mirror Lake though.
