Need a lens cap

for my QL 17 GIII. I don't have one and have to keep the ratty old never ready case on it to keep the battery from going dead. Anyone have one or know what size will fit

If you find a good source for one of these I'd love to get one also. For a while after I got my Canonet I was just snapping the cap on and off. I didn't realize you had to *twist* it onto the filter threads. I broke one of the little tabs off and now it will hardly stay put. Doh!

Oh, and I just checked my little broken cap.. it says 48mm on the back side.

Yeah, you can pick up a 48mm snap on cap pretty easily on ebay.

Also, if you turn the aperture dial of the GIII off "A" the meter will turn off and save your battery.

i just bought a favourite lens cap, a metal screw in cap in 48mm.

they used to be popular amny years ago but hard to find now.
this one is new.

i also have a metal screw in cap in...40mm!! priceless to me.
